Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use the InsuranceFX website, including the blind quote form and the cost review upload page. We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. If anything gets in your way, tell us and we will help and fix it.

Reviewed 2 November 2026 by the InsuranceFX team

What standard does the InsuranceFX website aim for?

WCAG 2.2 level AA, across every page and form.

You should be able to zoom to 400% without losing content, navigate the whole site with a keyboard, use it with a screen reader and change colours, text size and spacing in your browser.

What have we done to make the site accessible?

We built it with accessibility in from the start rather than adding it at the end.

  • Clear page structure with one main heading per page and headings in order.
  • A skip to content link and visible focus outlines for keyboard users.
  • Menus that open with a keyboard and close with the Escape key.
  • Text and background colours checked against the WCAG contrast ratio for normal text.
  • Tables with proper headers and a button to copy them, so rates and figures can be pasted into a spreadsheet.
  • Descriptive text for meaningful images and empty text for decorative ones.
  • Reduced motion respected for visitors who ask for it in their device settings.
  • No information given by colour alone.

How accessible are the blind quote form and the upload page?

Both are built to the same standard as the rest of the site, and both have another route if a form does not suit you.

  • Every field has a visible label and, where it helps, a hint such as the format for a date or an amount.
  • Choices such as currencies and firm type use standard form controls that work with a keyboard and a screen reader.
  • If something is missing or wrong, an error summary at the top links to each field, and each message says what to fix.
  • Neither form times out while you fill it in. Only a page left open for more than two days needs to be sent again.
  • The upload page uses your browser's own file picker. It accepts CSV, Excel, PDF and text files up to 10 MB.
  • If a file is hard to prepare, you can type in a single conversion instead, or call us and we will agree another way to send the figures.

You can also give us a blind quote requirement over the phone on 020 7566 0044. We will fill in the form for you and read it back before it goes to providers.

Are there any known issues?

None known at the date of this statement. We will list any issues found in testing here, with the date we expect to fix them.

Spreadsheets and PDFs that you send to us for a cost review are your own documents. Our written review reports and quote tables are available in an accessible format on request.

Can I get information in another format?

Yes. Ask us for large print, an accessible PDF, a plain text version or a phone call to go through anything on the site.

Call 020 7566 0044 or email us. We will reply within 5 working days.

How do I report an accessibility problem?

Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will look at it and reply.

Use our contact form, call us or email us. If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.

When was this statement prepared?

This statement was prepared on 2 November 2026.

Find out what you are paying

Send 6 to 12 months of premium and claims conversions, or one redacted trade to start. We compare each rate with the market mid at the time and show your markup in basis points and in pounds a year.

Ask for a cost review

Compare without naming your firm

Tell us the currencies, the amounts and the flow. We put it to several regulated providers on our panel without your firm's name and show you every price that comes back.
